The least expensive display option for art is the "Mount
Only".
This is a process that "flattens" out your art by adhering
it to a foam centered backboard.
Advantages:
1). $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ savings.
2). No glass to break if knocked down or banged into with toys etc...Disadvantages:
1). Your print is not protected from marring or scratching.
2). The foam board will bow...how much usually depends on the weight (thickness) of your paper.
Note*** The exception...You can utilize a thicker or more rigid backboard, but then you might as well put a small metal frame on it. The dollar values are similar at that point.
